Over the past year or so, I have grown particularly fond of a few accessories that have proved less is definately more when I create different ensembles. These pieces have now become staples in my collection and have easily helped me to tie together different looks. Check them out:
Vena, The Goddess Experience: Statement Earrings
I copped these beauties early 2019 at a Fashion Arch pop up shop held at Queens Hall. This event was packed with amazing local entrepreneurs of fashion and art, Vena included. Vena is a local statement accessories brand that stands by sustainable fashion. Each piece is handmade with love and environmentally friendly materials! I have covered them in one of my fashion blog posts last year – click here to catch up. Since getting these babies, I am in love. They easily lift any and every ensemble from casual to ‘I have arrived!” I have sported these to a night out at the club and even a mere chill lime, an easy fave! Love love love!

Spirit of Naiad: Hammered Wrapped Gold Filled Choker
Since discovering this brand, I definately know that I want to build a collection of their pieces. Their jewellery goes for a more minimalist vybe and is handmade. My favourite are their gold filled, hammered pieces which encompass chokers, rings, bracelets and more! I was gifted this piece in 2018 for christmas and literally look for any excuse to wear it when I am heading out 😂😂 If you follow me on IG you would have already seen how I enjoy wearing this piece.
I would describe their pieces as dainty and elegant but durable & high quality. Though they are minamlist in style, for me, they are perfect to add that sexy, classy and feminine touch to your fits, without doing too much. I have really been loving incorporating more dainty accessories, especially gold pieces, to my looks.

Ken’s Copper Collection: Copper Pan Earrings
I scooped these up at the 2019 Carifesta Event. Ken’s Copper Collection is another local artisan who makes handcrafted jewelery, souvenirs and art pieces using materials such as copper, brass, enamel and leather. These earrings are so elegant and classy. I love the mix of copper which allows me to accessorize with either rose gold or yellow gold accents. These are definately a keeper!

Details By Tarelle: Statement Bag
THIS BAG IS A HIT! Details by Tarelle specializes in handcrafted hard shell bags! These bags definately make a statement and can lift any seemingly plain ensemble to a sophisticated display of art. If you really take in the bag, it exudes exactly what the brand calls itself. Details! With beautiful white, gold and black accents and tiny pops of colour, the bag stands out on its own! I honestly have no other bag that has such a unique look. When I want to look a lil extra put together and feel grown, I grab this bag ASAP! 😂
